Frequently asked questions

How does AutoBooking work?

AutoBooking is part of SchengenGo's expert visa processing service. We monitor visa centre calendars in real time, review your application and secure the earliest matching appointment as part of the AutoBooking service. The complete AutoBooking walkthrough takes you from picking your destination all the way to your confirmation.

What does SchengenGo actually do?

SchengenGo monitors appointment calendars on visa centre websites in real time. The moment a matching appointment becomes available, we notify you so you can book it yourself. With AutoBooking, our team handles the booking step and secures the appointment as part of the service.

Which countries can SchengenGo book for?

We cover a long list of countries across several regions. Get in touch with our support team for the most current rundown of supported countries and visa centres.

Can SchengenGo book an appointment for 2, 3, 4 or 5 travellers at once?

Yes. AutoBooking handles group bookings. When you set up your subscription, tell us how many travellers need an appointment and AutoBooking covers the whole group.

How quickly can AutoBooking secure my appointment?

It depends on the destination and visa type. Anything from a few hours to 1 to 2 weeks is normal. Our team and AutoBooking system work continuously to secure the earliest matching appointment. For high-demand visa categories, expect longer waits because availability is tight.

Is SchengenGo safe to use?

Absolutely. Your data is encrypted and handled securely throughout the application and booking process, and we never sell or share it with third parties for advertising.

What happens if no appointments are available right now?

SchengenGo monitors visa centre calendars around the clock. Even when nothing is currently visible, new appointments are released regularly, and the AutoBooking system secures the first one that fits your criteria as soon as it appears.

Will my subscription renew automatically?

No. Subscriptions run for 30 days and then expire. There are no automatic renewals and you will not be billed the following month.

Do you support countries that use waitlists?

Yes. We work with destinations that operate waitlist systems, and SchengenGo continues monitoring those waitlists so we can secure an appointment the moment one becomes available.

Why is the AutoBooking fee higher than the price shown on the site?

The final AutoBooking fee can shift based on the visa centre, destination, appointment requirements and number of applicants. Some centres ask for staged payments, additional applicant fees or a fee for choosing a preferred date window. SchengenGo always lays out the relevant payment steps before processing starts.

Why is my country not supported yet?

Coverage is growing all the time. If your target country is not on the list yet, let our support team know so we can register your interest. We add new countries based on what users are asking for most.

When are new appointments usually released?

Release schedules differ by country and visa centre. Some open new appointments at fixed times, others release them throughout the day. SchengenGo monitors continuously so we can act the moment a matching appointment appears.

I subscribed to AutoBooking but nothing has been booked yet. Why?

For popular visa categories, 1 to 2 weeks is the typical wait because availability is limited and demand is high. Our team and AutoBooking system continue working, but everything depends on the visa centre actually releasing new appointments. Reach out to support if you have any concerns about your subscription.

An appointment opened up. Why didn't I get it?

In high-demand routes, many applicants are watching the same calendar at once. SchengenGo aims for the earliest matching appointment and continues monitoring for the next opportunity if another applicant secures the same one first.

How does payment work for AutoBooking?

It depends on the visa centre and route. Some routes ask for the visa centre fee upfront before processing kicks in, with the SchengenGo AutoBooking service fee charged only after a successful booking. Other routes require the full amount upfront because of the visa centre's payment rules. The exact flow is shown before you confirm anything.

What if the booked date doesn't work for me?

If the date you receive does not suit you, on flows that include a post-booking service fee you can simply choose not to pay it. That said, any non-refundable visa centre fees or prepayments already used for the booking cannot be returned.

Where do I get the OTP code from?

The OTP arrives at the email tied to the application process. Just before your next sign-in to the visa centre site, message our support team and we will share the code with you. OTP codes usually only stay valid for a couple of minutes.

Can I switch the country I subscribed to?

Get in touch with our support team and, where possible, we will help you swap to a different country or visa category.

I subscribed 5 minutes ago and have not received any notifications.

Visa appointments are not released every hour, or even every day. Depending on the country, the first notification can take anywhere from 1 to 5 days to come through. That is perfectly normal and SchengenGo is monitoring the whole time.

What if I already have a visa centre account?

No problem. On some routes, SchengenGo may use a dedicated workspace so AutoBooking can run cleanly without affecting the account you already have.

Do you publish appointment statistics?

Yes. Drop a message to customer support and they will share the latest appointment statistics with you and help you decide which destination is the smartest choice.
